Candied Oreo Popcorn

This is the honest to goodness truth - I'm NOT allowed to make popcorn in my house. I have burnt one too many bags of popcorn and it's soooo hard to get that smell out! Funny story, I burnt a bag of popcorn at my old job once and I was 100 feet away from the kitchen and could smell it at my desk. The smell just lingered around the building the remainder of the day. So as I tell Dale I'm making him some Oreo Popcorn, I see he is excited but also a small look of worry. I did ask him to pop the popcorn - hahaha don't ask me how in the world I manage to cook an entire 3 course meal without a flaw but I can't pop a simple bag of popcorn...

So anyway - this recipe can also be used with other candies. I would like this very much with M & Ms.

1 bag popcorn
12 Oreos
6 squares almond bark

Cook the bag of popcorn and put in a large bowl. Crush up 12 Oreos - I put mine in a baggie and just crushed it all together. Melt the almond bark for about 20 seconds at a time until completely melted. With a spatula pour and mix the almond bark over the popcorn until coated and then stir in the Oreos.
