White Sauce Canadian Bacon and Italian Sausage Pizza

1 pkg. refrigerated pizza crust (I use Pillsbury thin crust)
1 c. garlic Alfredo sauce
Green Peppers
Mushrooms
Black Olives 
1 T. minced garlic
1/2 pkg. sliced Canadian bacon
1 pkg. cooked Italian Sausage
1 c. mozzarella cheese
1 c. cheddar cheese
olive oil

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spread pizza crust on greased baking sheet. Brush olive oil all over crust and spread on minced garlic. Spread Alfredo sauce on crust all the way to the edges. Layer on the goodies and top with cheese. Put in oven and bake for an additional 10 - 15 min or until the cheese is bubbling. Let the pizza stand for a couple of minutes before cutting.


Below is another pizza I threw some BBQ pork on. It tasted mighty fine as well. We had it to use up so we thought, let's throw it on a pizza. I just used Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce instead of Alfredo sauce. Slather on the ingredients and go!


You could also try freezing these as frozen pizzas!!

Cheddar and Mayo French Bread Spread

I got this recipe from a good friend of mine. At first I thought, mayo on bread - interesting. Once I cooked it, absolutely the best bread EVER. This recipe is made a lot in our house. We have it with pizza, pasta, or with even burgers. I recommend trying this recipe because it is easy and delicious.

All you need is...
1 loaf french bread -
          I had to do with Garlic that's all the store had. I did have to scrape off the butter they had on it.
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shaved parmesan cheese
1 T. parsely
1 t. garlic salt





Pre-cut french bread 3/4 through. Combine all ingredients and slather on bread. Place on baking sheet or foil and place in the oven on broil. Keep your eye on the oven, this can burn really easy! Remove from the oven once mixture is bubbling and bread has turned golden brown. Pull apart and serve.

White Chocolate Snickerdoodle Pudding Cookies

I think these cookies are only for some people. My husband loves cookies but doesn't care for these. I on the other hand love them as they are so moist!

White Chocolate Snicker doodle Pudding Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3.4 oz. package white chocolate instant pudding mix
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups white chocolate chips
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. cinnamon sugar for rolling







Instructions

Preheat oven to 350º. Prepare baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugars.
Add eggs first, and mix in, then add remaining ingredients (reserving the cinnamon sugar). Mix well.
Scoop out with a cookie scooper (about 3 tbsp. worth) and roll the dough ball in the cinnamon sugar, coating completely.
Place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake for approximately 10 minutes, until slightly golden and just set in the middle. Let cool on baking sheet.

Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Alright, so let me start by saying this was a crazy last minute thought that turned out to be a good one. I was not sure how I would do on this one, but hey it tasted pretty damn good. I don't know I will ever buy a jar of Spaghetti Sauce again...well maybe in a pinch :)

Here you go - ENJOY!!

INGREDIENTS:
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups onion, chopped and divided
1 red pepper, coarsely chopped
2 pounds hamburger (at least 90% lean)
5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 12 oz. can tomato paste
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 teaspoons dried oregano
3 teaspoons dried basil
1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 14-oz. can Italian-style diced tomatoes
2 28-oz. can crushed tomatoes
1 carton fresh mushrooms (optional)
1 1/2 cups beef stock or beef broth
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 bay leaves
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

DIRECTIONS:
Heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add 1/2 of the onions and saute until translucent and slightly browned. Add garlic and stir constantly for 1 minute. Add beef and cook until no red is showing. Drain beef slightly. Blend up the remaining onions and red pepper in food processor
until mostly smooth. Add mixture to the garlic, onions and beef and stir to combine, cooking for another minute. Add tomato paste and spices and cook for 1 minute, stirring until combined. Add tomatoes, beef broth and sugar (and mushrooms, if using). Stir until combined and add the bay leaves. Bring to a boil and then reduce to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Fifteen minutes before serving, stir in the balsamic vinegar.





NOTE: The sauce will seem watery at first but will reduce to perfection after simmering for an hour. I’ve let it simmer on the stove for up to three hours before with no problems.

3. i plan to make some freezer recipes this weekend! do you even understand how amazing it is to set it out and just throw in the oven, i mean REALLY! do you get it? come to my house - you will understand
4. one thing that seems to follow me week to week is the date i have with my DVR
5. bonding with my husband, he has a knack for woodworking and he has built me a new pantry. i hope to be closer to moving it to the pantry this weekend.

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

It seems like my posts are few and far between lately. I am trying to get back into a routine. With craziness of the holidays out of the way, I will be back to sharing recipes, how to’s and much more! This year is going to bring a lot of new things, I can just feel it! I look forward to sharing this year with you!

So, I have been crazy busy at work with a lack of sleep since the holidays. I was off work for the holidays from December 21st to January 2nd. In case you didn't notice that was 11 whole days! I don’t think in those 11 days I went to be before 12 am. Which made it that much harder to get back to work. I am STILL recouping!!

Tonight, I am going to work on some projects around the house. And eating this wonderful supper below :) It is basically all we have in the house right now!

New Year's Resolution

Whether you New Year’s Resolution is get in shape, manage debt, look for a new job, text less, call a friend more, manage stress, or even cook a meal once a week. We all have things we are constantly working on bettering in our lives.

This year my New Year’s Resolution is to save more money. Now let’s see how good I can do at this. I had to create a post and be accountable so here I go, wish me luck :)

I for the most part don’t spend that much money. I have pulled out an old Suze Orman book, and I am going to read it front to back and learn something. Believe it or not I can read and I completed 5 books in 2012!!!

I tend to be frugal with some things but not all. I am more frugal on material things than food. I want something that tastes good, so when I go to the grocery store I don’t really look at prices or buy the generic brand. I am going to start doing that because chances are they taste the same. I am going to start cutting coupons. I tried doing this a while back but it was a lot of work. Here I am trying it again. Now, I am not going to be one of those ‘Extreme Couponer’s’ so don’t look for me on TV any time soon J
