Thursday Day 6 - Shanghai, China

We have almost been here a week now, where has the time gone?

Kids were off to school so we headed to YuYuan Garden.

Yu Garden or Yuyuan Garden is a Chinese garden located beside the City God Temple in the northeast of the Old City of Shanghai, China

A little old and modern mix...

I thought this was a cool image.

Just like the other places around Shanghai it is full of shops. The flow of people in and out is constant.

This is not uncommon to see...

Wanna buy a wicker chair?

That night we headed to Din Tai Fung for dinner. They have one of the most popular dish called Soup Dumplings.

The dumplings below are Beef and Shrimp Dumplings. These are so hot when they bring them out that you have to wait about five minutes to even touch them.
When you get them you dip them in a soy sauce with garlic.  You then bite them and suck the soup out and eat the dumpling. These were very good! If only I could try making HALF of these dishes at home!

Inside of the restaurant, it looks out over Lujiazui

After dinner we took a stroll on the Bund. It is beautiful at night. Wouldn't this make an incredible puzzle??!

The World Financial Center at night!
